Doves Class Blog Week 3
We started off our week by needing help!
We want to find all of these missing creatures so Doves and Swallows put missing creature posters up around our school. We didn’t know what to do but we do want all our animals to be safe. We then had a letter from the Ministry of ‘Lost Things’ saying that they couldn’t take any more creatures as they are too full at the moment.
We asked for advice from ‘Pets at Home’ and have decided to design our own care guide. We are hoping that people will come forward and adopt our creatures. We are going to continue with this next week. Keep looking at the blog and twitter to see our latest updates!
Excellent homework this week Doves.
On Tuesday we had an excellent Cabbage Science Assembly. We learnt all the different experiments. Many of the children are looking forward to the extra-curricular activity that will be offered.
RE, PHSE and Citizenship:
We learnt that it will be Chinese New Year tomorrow and found out that it is the year of the Rat. We watched a video clip all about it and talked about the special occasion. We decorated our reflection area to celebrate the event. The children have come home with a red envelope with chocolate coins in. This is a gift that people hand out for the occasion and it's called an Angpao. We also had fortune cookies from a child in the class. Thank you!
Keep up the hard work Doves.
