The children had a “flipping” good time on Tuesday with our annual pancake-toss. Thank you for your generous sponsorship.
In maths the children have been working on measurement, including metric and imperial units, you can support this learning at home by looking out for everyday uses of measures, eg speed limits, route planners or recipes, to talk about with your child.
If you are reading the newspapers this weekend, share an article with your child and work out if there is a bias in the reporting. We have been working on persuasive techniques in writing and how an author might present their particular point of view, not always obviously.
